View of pole building. The poles are made of Eastern Red Cedar that grows locally and has a fragrant, brownish-red heartwood naturally resistant to rot. Board and batten siding is locally grown, rough-sawn, yellow pine. Birdhouse gourds (Mexican Bottle Gourds) are growing in the foreground. The drive-through design houses an old Ford 8N tractor and accommodates easy access to an abandoned mining road that runs down into Bear Hollow.

The fish skeleton above the tractor shed is fashioned after the logo used by the Swiss Mariner's Fife and Drum Corps, Basel, Switzerland.
